Vending Machines

Vending machines are a potential source of tobacco products to people under 18 years of age (minors). Reducing the availability of tobacco products to minors is a major objective of the Tobacco Products Control Act 2006 (the Act) and is part of a range of strategies designed to inhibit, if not prevent, young people taking up smoking and progressing from experimentation to addiction.
